Un-Johan-like behavior

Some of you are gonna label me a sell-out for this, but I'm actually heading into a weekend of very un-Johan-like behavior, so to speak. First of all, I slept 12 hours last night. Doing a bit of shady math and adding that to the six hours total I got the two nights before, that actually pust me at an average of six hours per night.. Which is more than I've gotten in a long, long time!

Secondly, it's 1:15 AM Thursday night, and I'm not drunk! Not even tipsy! Nothing! I've actually been a good boy so far this weekend and decided to spend the evening with a girl I met at the party last Friday, just chilling on the couch, both of us recovering from a brush with the flu. After watching a rather boring football match, we turned our attention to the semi-finals of the Eurovision Song Contest which admitttedly sounds like a lame-ass thing to do – but considering that we spend the entire time totally  trashing all the contestants, it proved a great source of entertainment.And what a show it was.. After watching 20-some contestants, we only had one country that we didn't have more than a few bad things to say about.

The surprise of the evening came when I realised that Finland had chosen to enter LORDI  this year.. I mean, what the hell? I suppose Nightwish were too busy with their internal bitching and power struggles?So yea, no drinks for Johan tonight.. But then again, after going out on binges Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of last week, I'll probably survive! But what about tomorrow, then? Well, seeing as I have to work, I'll probably settle for hitting the campus bar for a few beers at midnight and then that'll more than likely be that, seeing as I'm poorer than poor at the moment I'm due to attend my maternal grandma's 66th birthday on Sunday morning, so Saturday will probably be a very quiet night for me as well. Sure, I've been known to party into the wee hours before attending such celebrations in the past, but this time I actually made a promise to show up sober.. So yea, this one's for you gramps!
