Happy birthday, Ozzy!!

Holy shit.. I can’t believe I didn’t notice till now.. It’s the Prince of F’ing Darkness’ 60th birthday today!

Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I think of metal, I think of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne.. Heck, when I think of Rock ‘n’ Roll, I think of Ozzy, too, because who can honestly say they’ve lived a more outrageous lifestyle than Ozzy himself?

All that aside, we as fans of heavy metal and hard rock alike owe Ozzy a lot. Whether you like his style or not, he helped pioneer and define the genre we love.. Or you love to hate..

So happy birthday, Oz, and thank you for your contribution to the genre I so love!

I think this vid about says is all about Mr Osbourne.. And somehow it just makes sense to me.. And a lot of other people, too, I guess: “Throughout the happiness and sorrow, I guess I’d do it all again, live for today and not tomorrow, it’s still the road that never ends.”
